Senior Plumbing Engineer

Position Overview We’re looking for a high‑energy Plumbing Engineer to join our Building Mechanical team and help deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. You will work alongside a team of engineers and designers performing field investigations, interfacing with clients and vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages. Responsibilities Development of the design criteria for plumbing systems. Layout and design of plumbing systems including sanitary sewer, process sewer, potable water, hot water, natural gas, and roof drainage. Development of final design documents including specifications associated with these systems. Coordination with other disciplines. Accountability for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Qualifications Professional Engineering License. At least eight (8) years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems. Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing system design. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Adaptability to work within a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely. Ideal Additional Qualifications Software experience in Revit. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
