Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with GE and Toshiba/Canon scanner experience, Epic proficiency, and outpatient experience for a night shift travel contract in Oregon.

Details

• Hospital-based CT Scan unit
• Outpatient experience required in addition to standard imaging duties
• Minimum of 3 CT techs scheduled per shift — no call required
• GE and Toshiba/Canon CT scanners in use
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• 13-week contract with potential for extension beyond 13 weeks

Requirements

• 1–2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Graduate of an imaging technology program approved by applicable licensing bodies
• Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license in radiography — no pending licenses accepted
• ARRT registration in radiography required
• CT licensure through OBMI or ARRT CT registration required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
• Hands-on experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment required
• Epic EMR proficiency required — no exceptions
• IV skills required
• COVID vaccination required — no exemptions
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs diagnostic quality CT procedures in a safe manner following ARRT guidelines
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rates — no radius restriction
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be modified once the profile is under review — additional requests may result in cancellation
