Key Details:
- Shifts:
- SAT: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- SUN: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Position: Medical Technologist for Point of Care Testing
- Certification:
- MLS certification through ASCP or equivalent (ASCP: MLS, CLS, MT Medical Technologist)
- Must have a full license (Associates level will not be accepted) Role Responsibilities:
- Perform point of care testing with precision and care
- Support FSED operations through clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and Lab Director
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds:
- Number of Staff:
- Type of Staff:
- Day Shift: Example - 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 Sitters
- Night Shift:
- Patient Ratios:
- Type of Equipment:
- EMR System: Preferred Skills:
- Must have: ASCP certified MLS (CLS)
- Nice to have: Point of care knowledge Typical Procedures:
- POC testing
