Commercial Banking Specialist

The Commercial Banking Specialist works with assigned Relationship Managers (RMs) in the Commercial and Business segments. This position provides sales, administrative, loan, deposit and other relevant support to the RMs. This position also provides primary support for the RM's clients. The Commercial Banking Specialist understands the overall commercial workflow and processes and works effectively with relevant Bank Partners to resolve client issues and provide a high level of service.

The salary range for this position is $17.00 - $27.50 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications and the career level at which the position is filled.

Key accountabilities include:

• Assists with loan process
• Assists with portfolio and credit administration
• Assists with depository process
• Assists with sales support and administrative needs

Key competencies for the position include compelling communication, making decisions and solving problems, and delighting clients.

Qualifications and education requirements include an associate degree in administrative services/business or equivalent experience, minimum 4+ years of administrative and/or banking experience preferred, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, focus on providing excellent service, effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with clients and key decision makers effectively and independently, ability to manage time and prioritize meeting deadlines, appropriate attention to detail and organizational skills, and ability to adapt and manage changing priorities and deadlines.
