Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join a fast-paced healthcare support environment. In this role, you will act as a primary point of contact for members, providers, and health plans—helping to coordinate care and ensure a seamless healthcare experience.

This position begins within a call queue environment, where you will manage inbound calls from members, collect detailed information, and route requests to the appropriate departments. Accuracy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer service are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between members, providers, and health plans
• Handle inbound calls and respond to inquiries related to:
  • Claims
  • Referrals
  • Eligibility
• Accurately document member interactions and capture detailed messages
• Route inquiries and requests to appropriate internal departments
• Support coordination of care to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Maintain professionalism and provide an exceptional member experience in every interaction

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience (healthcare industry preferred)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
