Facilities Maintenance Technician
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance across various facilities tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, drywall, painting, and electrical repairs. The technician will follow documented preventative maintenance logs and manage work orders and vendor follow-ups as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, drywall, painting, and electrical systems.
- Follow and maintain documented preventative maintenance logs.
- Manage work orders and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Perform routine inspections and complete accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety SOPs.
- Assist in installations, event setups, and preparation.
- Organize tools and materials/supplies effectively.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in painting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Understanding of power tools and electrical knowledge.
- Knowledge of waste and recycling practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA and EPA requirements.
- Handling hazardous and disposal materials.
- Adherence to SQF and GMP 5S guidelines.
- Capability in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with routine inspections and documentation.
- Ability to comply with health and safety SOPs.
- Skills in installations and event setups.
- Organizational skills for tools and material/supply management.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Gate, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
