Treatment Coordinator

Our office, Oral Surgery of New Mexico - Las Cruces, is seeking a talented Treatment Coordinator to join our busy specialty practice. We are looking for a talented and skilled Treatment Coordinator to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world‑class specialty experience for every patient. Your responsibilities Engage with patients to explain treatment options, answer questions, and address concerns in a clear and empathetic manner. Collaborate with the dental team to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Schedule appointments for treatments, consultations, and follow‑up visits, taking into consideration the patient's availability and the clinic's schedule. Assist patients in understanding and navigating insurance coverage and financial obligations, providing accurate cost estimates, and exploring payment options. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, treatment plans, and correspondence to ensure efficient communication and coordination. Work closely with the front desk and administrative staff to ensure a smooth patient flow and an organized office environment. Continuously update your knowledge of dental treatments, procedures, and insurance policies to provide accurate information to patients. Handle any patient concerns or issues that may arise during the treatment process, escalating them as necessary to ensure prompt resolution. Ability to work full‑time, Monday‑Friday from 8:00 am‑5:00 pm. Your background Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and the dental team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex treatment information in a clear and understandable manner. Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in dental software and basic computer skills. Understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes. Empathetic and patient‑centered approach to customer service. A high school diploma.
