Director of Sales

Director of Sales Home2 Suites by Hilton Wilson Downtown BryantCorp, a family‑owned developer, owner and operator of hotels throughout the Southeast, is seeking an entrepreneurial Director of Sales to help establish and grow guest relationships at a truly one‑of‑a‑kind Home2 Suites by Hilton in Wilson, NC. BryantCorp is a growth‑oriented company that relies on an "ownership" mentality across its entire team. The brand new 116‑room Home2 Suites by Hilton is being built directly into Wilson's new downtown baseball stadium for the Wilson Warbirds, a minor league team affiliated with the Milwaukee Brewers. Wilson and its surrounding communities are leading North Carolina in terms of economic development and the city is poised for outsized growth over the coming years. The new Home2 Suites by Hilton will be a true community asset, and a successful Director of Sales will be proactive outside the hotel developing relationships with the region's growing local business community and other regional organizations. Expectations Excellent hunter sales with a proactive nature to find and win business through trusting relationships. Coordinate administrative sales support such as documenting sales calls, setting up billing information, marketing materials. Collaborate with BryantCorp revenue management team and on‑site GM to optimize guests and groups. Prepare proposals and/or contracts. Partner with Wilson Warbirds sales team to rent space and meeting rooms for special events and baseball games. Exemplary guest service by demonstrating a personal commitment to making every guest satisfied. Other duties as requested by the General Manager. Like the hotel's GM, a successful Director of Sales will be a community leader in Wilson and the surrounding communities. Preferred Qualifications A giving spirit, with the genuine desire to improve the lives of others and enhance communities in which they work. Experience in hotel sales or management (Hilton and/or Home2 Suites is a plus). Strong sales and networking skills. Experience with Hilton reservation and information systems. Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or at least 2‑3 years of relevant experience.
