Job DescriptionJob title: Nurse Practitioner\nJob Location: Lima, Ohio \n Job Type: Full-Time\nFocus: Employee Health, Wellness & Preventive Care\nSchedule: Evening shift\n \nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for a compassionate and clinically strong Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide onsite healthcare and wellness services to employees in Lima, Ohio.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an NP who enjoys combining clinical care, preventive health, employee wellness, and health education. You’ll work directly with employees to address health concerns, support chronic disease management, promote healthy lifestyles, and help create a safer and healthier workplace.\nThe ideal candidate is approachable, confident working independently, and comfortable collaborating with wellness, safety, and other healthcare professionals.\nWhat You’ll Do\n\n Provide onsite preventive and primary healthcare services to employees.\n Conduct health assessments, screenings, and clinical evaluations.\n Assess and support employees with acute health concerns and chronic conditions.\n Provide education regarding medications, lifestyle changes, disease prevention, and overall wellness.\n Support employees with health and wellness concerns such as diabetes, weight management, and other chronic conditions.\n Provide medication education and guidance, including appropriate education related to GLP-1 medications.\n Administer immunizations, including flu, tetanus, and other vaccines as appropriate.\n Perform or support workplace health screenings and wellness initiatives.\n Conduct respiratory/facemask fit testing as required.\n Coordinate appropriate treatment and follow-up care with the healthcare team.\n Collaborate with wellness coaches, registered dietitians, safety personnel, EMS, and other members of the onsite team.\n Participate in workplace safety meetings and support employee health and safety programs.\n Assist with health campaigns, onsite wellness events, and employee engagement initiatives.\n Provide referrals and help employees navigate appropriate healthcare resources when additional care is needed.\n Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.\n Follow established clinical protocols, policies, and applicable regulations.\n Contribute to a positive, supportive, and health-focused workplace environment.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Ohio.\n Current national NP certification such as AANP, ANCC, or equivalent.\n Current CPR/BLS certification.\n Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.\n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.\n Strong documentation and organizational skills.\n Comfortable interacting directly with employees and workplace leadership.\n Experience in occupational health, employee wellness, primary care, or chronic disease management is preferred.\n\nPreferred Experience\n\n Biometric health screenings.\n Lifestyle and wellness coaching.\n Chronic disease management.\n Weight management and medication education.\n GLP-1 medication education.\n Workplace or onsite clinic experience.\n Occupational health or employee health services.\n Experience working with diverse employee populations.\n Familiarity with EMR systems and electronic clinical documentation.\n\n
