Accountant

We are seeking an Accountant to support our client’s financial operations by managing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with general accounting tasks that support daily operations and long‑term growth. The role requires high attention to detail, accuracy, dependable self‑starter, and proactive thinking. Pensacola, FL Direct Hire Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Generate invoices and track customer payments Monitor job costing and project‑based expenses Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements, cash summaries and balance sheets Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Support audits and provide documentation as needed Coordinate with management on financial performance and cost control Employee benefits management Vehicle & insurance management assistance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience (construction or service industry experience a plus) Strong knowledge of GAAP Experience with QuickBooks Online payroll software experience preferred Online CRM/CMSS/SASS customer management software experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Preferred Experience Experience with job costing or project‑based accounting Familiarity with payroll processing Experience in maintenance, construction, or field service industries Experience accounting for subscription‑based business models Compensation & Benefits Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience) Employer‑paid medical coverage 401(k) with company match; personal plans available Life and accident policy Company vehicle provided for business use Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth within the company Company phone and computer provided Why Join Our Client?
