What you’ll do

• Conduct daily inspections of key HVAC/R equipment throughout the plant
• Execute runtime and downtime preventative maintenance for HVAC/R systems
• Troubleshoot HVAC/R issues, identify root causes, and complete repairs
• Plan and implement corrective actions that improve reliability
• Apply working knowledge of industrial electrical and pneumatic systems
• Support broader maintenance tasks as needed
• Record labor and progress by completing work orders
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and keep tools in ready condition
• Take on HVAC/R or maintenance tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or plant leadership
• Promote teamwork and a collaborative environment

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Technical certificate or degree from an accredited trade school, college, or university (highly preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC/R field (preferred)
• Current Universal Refrigerant handling certificate
• Consistent, reliable attendance
• Proven skill diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and programming issues related to HVAC/R
• Ability to work beyond 40 hours as needed, including some weekends and holidays based on workload or projects
