Senior Intelligence Analyst - Enterprise & Major Crimes Division

Responsibilities The Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) will be responsible for developing tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence information to support ongoing investigations and counter-drug operations. Serve as a strategic decision-maker for the implementation of the grant mission with the AGO Criminal Bureau, the Massachusetts State Police and their external partners. Supervise and provide guidance to the Intelligence Analyst. Conduct and manage complex research into drug cultivation and production, methods of transportation, trafficking routes, and the structure and analysis of trafficking organizations. Analyze aggregate datasets and develop methodologies to determine root causes, patterns, and opportunities to improve public safety and generate investigative leads. Use data collection and mapping software to compile information to create reports and recommendations for crime prevention and response techniques with local, state, and federal partners. Conduct preliminary vetting of incoming tips and intelligence. Prepare, summarize, and present investigative findings. Coordinate multi-agency collaboration and provide project management and intelligence analysis for all partners. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience working as an Intelligence Analyst in law enforcement, military, or intelligence environments; advanced degree in data analysis and prior management experience, preferred. Knowledge of or interest in drug law enforcement. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including experience with statistical software and expertise in designing reports, link charts, graphs, and tables. Experience conducting research, synthesizing and interpreting data, preparing and presenting reports, and writing. Ability to independently manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact with staff at all levels with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Ability to work effectively in an interagency environment with federal, state, and local law enforcement and intelligence professionals. Familiarity with social media data exploitation and comfort with open-source research. Excellent organizational, program planning, and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
