Overview Senior Accountant Location: Edison, NJ - 4 days in office Department: Finance & Accounting Hybrid/Remote Join a growing team as a Senior Accountant, where you’ll drive financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 3+ years of public accounting experience, CPA preferred. Responsibilities Assist with preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws. Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and optimize financial performance. Interpret financial data and communicate insights to senior management. Coordinate and facilitate external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. Assess and streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for automation and implementation of accounting software solutions. Liaise between finance/accounting and other departments, providing financial information and analysis to support cross-functional initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA certification preferred 3+ years of public accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Strong analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively #J-18808-Ljbffr
