Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking dedicated and flexible nurses to join an expanding adult medical/surgical unit that specializes in providing care for patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and behavioral issues. This unique unit is one of only a few in the country, offering a dynamic work environment where your skills and commitment can make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Manage patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions alongside traditional medical/surgical care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions as needed.
• Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN License in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing is required.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
