Your Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established guidelines.
• Verify results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for laboratory testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory processes, train new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health field, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required to be obtained within one year from the date of hire.
• Maintain your certification actively while employed.
