Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments including taking patient histories and performing physical examinations to understand their health needs.
• Develop, document, and communicate individualized care plans that reflect the latest evidence-based guidelines and protocols.
• Perform daily patient rounds, ensuring seamless coordination of care and identifying potential health concerns.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and additional investigations essential for patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Consult with attending physicians and interdisciplinary team members to devise comprehensive care strategies for optimal patient outcomes.
• Facilitate patient discharges by preparing discharge summaries, orders for follow-up prescriptions, and referrals to community resources.
• Provide patients with detailed post-discharge care instructions to ensure continuity of care and effective management of their health conditions.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development through training sessions and workshops, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required, along with national board certification in women’s health.
• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Professional Nurse in New Jersey.
• Previous experience in women’s health or related fields is essential, with 1 year of direct patient care experience being the minimum requirement.
• Knowledge of relevant local, state, and national laws governing Nurse Practitioner practices.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $220,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
