Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial patient assessments, including taking comprehensive histories and performing physical examinations specific to women's health.
• Develop, document, and communicate individualized plans of care, ensuring each patient has a clear understanding of their treatment pathway and follow-up needs.
• Perform routine patient rounds and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize care delivery.
• Order necessary laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, interpret results, and adjust treatment plans accordingly based on findings.
• Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and preventive care, including family planning, menopause management, and cancer screenings.
• Facilitate effective discharge planning by documenting discharge summaries, outlining follow-up appointments, and providing necessary referrals to specialists.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring compliance with all healthcare standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population consists of women of all ages seeking comprehensive gynecological care, prenatal health services, and family planning support. You will also address a variety of women's health issues, promoting holistic care through education and support. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Practitioner studies is required.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey, with a valid Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Certification by an appropriate national board in your specialty area is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines and standards concerning women's health.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
