Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in our inviting outpatient office located in Passaic, NJ. This onsite position allows for direct interaction with patients and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient histories and perform thorough physical examinations to assess individual health needs.
• Initiate, document, and communicate comprehensive care plans while following up to ensure patient preparedness for treatments or procedures.
• Carry out daily patient rounds to monitor health status and respond to patient inquiries with clarity and compassion.
• Write orders for necessary medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests while ensuring accuracy in patient records.
• Interpret laboratory and test results to make informed decisions about patient care and treatment options.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Prepare thorough discharge summaries, prescriptions, and referrals, ensuring that patients understand their aftercare instructions.
• Perform additional duties as required, recognizing that all responsibilities are vital to the success of our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on women's health, catering to patients of all ages seeking gynecological care, reproductive health services, and preventive screenings. You will engage with a diverse patient population, ensuring cultural competence and sensitivity in delivering care. Your contributions directly enhance the quality of life for women in our community by addressing their unique healthcare needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program, with a focus on women's health or a related specialty area.
• National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in your area of specialty.
• Current licensing to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Professional Nurse in New Jersey.
• A collaborative practice agreement with designated protocols filed with the NYS Department of Education or an equivalent collaborative relationship attestation.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a women's health or obstetrics and gynecology setting.
• Prior experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems to facilitate effective patient documentation and follow-up.
• A strong background in patient education and preventive care practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
