Project Manager-Commercial Electrical Contractor

Job Description

The Project Manager for a Commercial Electrical Contractor plays a critical role in leading electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This position emphasizes effective project planning, budget oversight, and team coordination, ensuring that projects meet client expectations and adhere to timelines and standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of electrical construction industry practices, including occasional travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans
Oversee project budgets and control costs
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients
Manage contracts and ensure compliance with terms
Schedule project activities to meet deadlines

Required Qualifications

2-5+ years of experience in electrical construction project management

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in project scheduling and budget management
Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations. Electrical field experience a PLUS!
Strong team leadership abilities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Effective time management
