Department Manager

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the employer and is responsible for all employment matters. Responsibilities Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate and friendly experience. Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; set goals, delegate tasks, and report results. Guest Service Department Manager: oversee Crew and Managers to deliver a great customer experience; manage sales promotions; train customer service procedures; keep Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru organized. Kitchen Department Manager: ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly; maintain food safety; control food cost; train kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items. People Department Manager: hire qualified crew, train them, and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals; support crew development and motivation. Qualifications Previous McDonald’s managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. Minimum age 18 years or older. Positive team player with a flexible schedule for a fast‑paced environment.
