Shipping and Receiving Clerk A local company is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. This position is a combination of warehouse and office work and will involve operating a sit-down forklift, loading and unloading shipments, preparing shipping paperwork, and assisting customers with shipping needs. - Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload shipments
- Prepare packing lists, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and other shipping documents
- Create UPS shipping labels and use shipping software
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
- Communicate with customers by phone and email
- Assist with general shipping office duties
- Manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience preferred
- Previous office experience required
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- Knowledge of shipping and transportation processes
- Comfortable using computers and standard business software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- 1st shift 6:30a-4:30p M-Th and 6:30a-12p on Friday (avg of 36 hrs per week)
- $16/hr+ depending on experience
- Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
- Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts
