Key Responsibilities

• Support Physical Therapists in administering therapeutic exercises and hands-on treatment modalities to help patients restore performance and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting improvements and setbacks using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients, instilling confidence and motivation as they navigate their rehabilitation journey.
• Organize therapy areas and ensure the facility remains clean and safe, enhancing the patient experience.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation protocols and home exercise strategies to promote effective recovery.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions aimed at discussing patient care strategies and enhancing team performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a PTA at Balance Booster Rehab Center, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, traumatic injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will be instrumental in aiding patients of all ages, focusing on developing personalized care plans that accommodate their individual goals and capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
• Valid Florida PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience while fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
