Production Supervisor
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing operations supporting the safety, quality, and efficiency of production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: Sedalia, MO
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience
Shift: 12-hour nights (6pm to 6am, 2-2-3 schedule)
What's the Job?
- Lead safety initiatives by ensuring all safety training and procedures are followed, fostering a culture where safety is the top priority.
- Oversee daily production activities to meet customer quality and delivery expectations, ensuring operational procedures are adhered to.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality issues, coach operators on problem-solving techniques, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and mentor team members, providing feedback, training, and growth opportunities to promote continuous improvement.
- Manage operational data, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with maintenance and other departments to optimize plant efficiency.
What's Needed?
- Completed High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading or supervising in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, or electronic controls.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster teamwork and engagement.
- Ability to work extended hours and adapt to flexible scheduling needs.
