Job Description Night Shift: 12 hours/day, 3 days/week. Unit Specifics Hospital: Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center Location: Critical Care Unit Address: 355 New Shackle Island Rd, Hendersonville, TN Unit Name: CCU Number of Beds: 20 Patient Ratios: 2:1 for CCU patients Unit staffing: Unit secretary on days & nights; occasional tech help Type of equipment: Client monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 36 hours/week, 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks Floating policy: Contract labor floats before core staff Patient Experience requirement: at least 1 year critical care Hospital Specifics Certifications: ACLS Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: 1 year critical care experience, Meditech experience, ACLS, NIH certification Advanced skills needed: Ability to manage arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths/cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, ventilated patients Procedures performed: Bedside central line placement, Massive transfusion protocol Certifications required: ACLS Dress code: Black scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Unit specific policies and guidelines attached Benefits Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.
