Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish and will support physicians performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examination, including taking vital signs and medical histories
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
• Administer medications and injections as directed
• Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collections
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records (EMR)
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and handle patient inquiries
• Translate and communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding and comfort
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and follow infection control protocols
• Support the team in delivering a positive and efficient clinic experience

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
• Language: Fluent in English and Spanish
• Experience: Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
• Technology: Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR systems, e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
