About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President, Acquisitions to spearhead industrial investment activities in Atlanta and select Southeast markets. This senior leadership role is pivotal in leading the sourcing, underwriting, negotiation, and execution of institutional-quality industrial acquisitions, with a strong focus on relationship-driven deal origination. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire transaction process, from initial sourcing to closing, and will be expected to present investment recommendations to executive leadership. Additionally, the role involves close collaboration with various internal teams and playing a key part in the development of the regional investment platform. Applicants for the Senior Vice President, Acquisitions position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' of institutional commercial real estate acquisitions experience, particularly in the industrial sector. A proven track record in sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and closing industrial acquisitions is essential, as is a strong network within the local industrial investment and brokerage community. The role requires a deep understanding of logistics, warehouse, and distribution assets, as well as strong financial modeling, valuation, and underwriting skills, including proficiency in ARGUS. Experience with an institutional owner, investment manager, private equity firm, or REIT is also preferred. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, highly accountable, and capable of operating independently within a growing investment platform.
