Objective:

Minton & Roberson is seeking a motivated & enthusiastic individual to join our Project management team as a project coordinator. In this entry level position, you will play a vital role in supporting projects from start to completion. The Project coordinator will have a variety of tasks such as job set up, material requisition, & project communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers with assigned daily tasks and responsibilities
• Job set up including preparing job site binders for foreman
• Printing of construction documents, drawings, specifications, Etc.
• Review of shop drawings for direct comparison to contract drawings and construction standards
• Preforming equipment counts to ensure quantities match vendor quotes and submittals
• Reading specifications and creating construction standards
• Reviewing updated contract documents for additional change request
• Participating in on-site visits and inspections to monitor project progress
• Work with project managers to develop equipment list logs for warranty and close out purposes
• Prepare typical duct and duct accessory submittals
• Provide backup support on jobs such as typing, faxing, filling or scanning to all PMs

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 1-2 years of construction/sheet metal/industry experience
• 1-2 years of contract administrative experience preferred
• Valid drivers license
• High school diploma
• Candidate should be detail oriented, computer savvy, and a team player
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes in work environment and able to deal with sudden interruptions, delays, or unexpected events with a positive attitude
• Must demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to details, accuracy, and thoroughness to ensure work quality
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft office, excel, word, outlook, and Procure
