Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.IMMEDIATE ELIGIBILITY – Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as prescription coverage, short‑term disability, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and more.Generous 401K Matching ProgramPaid time offOpportunities for development and advancementWhat You'll Do:Develop die PMs and implement improvements to existing tooling.Conduct annual die review and follow up with required actions related to annual press inspections.Obtain quotes, write capital funding requests, coordinate machinery installations or tooling modifications or upgrades.Provide engineering services daily to maintenance and tool room.Participate in continuous improvement activities.What You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant industry experience.Good working knowledge of forming of carbon steel, stainless, and non‑ferrous substrate materials.Good working knowledge of draw, trim, cam, and progressive dies.Good working knowledge of stamping presses, screw machines, and roll‑form machines.Must have the ability to troubleshoot dies, presses, screw machines, and roll‑form machines.Good understanding of machining processes and safety controls.Proficient with CAD and AutoCAD – using CAD or AutoCAD to analyze existing tooling designs and improve on them.Developing blueprints for new tooling designs.Sharing designs with colleagues and implementing any relevant feedback in the new designs.Creating blueprints and designs using CAD or AutoCAD.Negotiating with vendors and contractors to secure the best deals.Strong background of tool and die metal stamping experience.Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and technical skills.Nice to Haves:Programming experience is a plus (robotic – Fanuc machines)Travel:Associate must be able to travel 5% of the time.Key Competencies:Team PlayerAble to set aside personal goals for the goals of the organization.Demonstrated ability to work well with others regardless of level.Identifies and does what needs to be accomplished for the common goal.CommunicationCan accurately convey information from one person to another.Able to summarize complex information.Gets point across clearly and effectively and efficiently.Speaks and writes using proper grammar.Able to communicate effectively to all levels in the organization.LeanHas working knowledge of Policy Deployment, Glasswalland Visual tools (e.g.5S).Understands and uses lean management processes.Problem solving tools (e.g.Root cause countermeasure, pareto, etc.).Creativity/ InnovationLooks past obvious answer to solutions.Seeks game changers (step function), not just incremental change.Can apply learning from diverse experiences to develop unique solutions.Tries new things to obtain challenging goals.Actions/Results OrientedEffectively utilize and influence others to accomplish objectives.Improves delivery of services.Recognizes and capitalizes on opportunities.Works around typical problems and obstacles to get results.Holds others and self accountable.Decision MakingInvestigates the background, defines the problem and identifies the cause before taking action.Considers alternative available actions, resources, and constraints before selecting a method for accomplishing a task or project.Uses structured decision‑making methods/tools.Considers cost, simplicity, alignment, speed when establishing or changing work procedures.Data to InsightUses structured decision‑making methods/tools.Ability to convert complex information to an easily understood insightful summary.Physical Requirements:To perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee.
