Warehouse Technician

Warehouse TechnicianWarehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, shipping, storing, and tracking equipment/materials kept in Betacom Warehouses. The Warehouse Technician will need to be able to operate a 2500/3500 truck safely and have experience pulling Flat Bed & Box trailers up to 20' in length. REQUIREDEssential Duties And Responsibilities:Loads and/or unloads equipment/materials while it is being received or when it is being shipped.Record materials and/or equipment entering and leaving the warehouse. Confirm that orders are accurate.Submit material order form to Warehouse Manager on an assigned periodic basis to keep stock at pre- determined levels.Submit warehouse order (paper towels, toiletries, soaps, etc.) form to Warehouse Manager on an assigned periodic basis to keep warehouse supply stock up to pre-determined levels.Keep warehouse, yard, parking lot and surrounding area is clear of trash and debris.As required, pick up equipment/materials from customer locations.Ensure spares and/or bad customer components are tagged properly and returned to customer within required timeframe.As required, pick up/deliver equipment/materials to other Betacom warehouse locations.Ensure that yard dumpsters are unloaded and brought back to property in a timely manner.Ensure field crews have material ready for their scheduled assignments.Assist with product assembly, as needed.Other duties as assigned.Other Duties:This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipmentGood computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Great Plains experience (Preferred)Self-motivated and able to learn quickly.Capable of operating forklift and hand operated pallet jack. Able to obtain forklift certification within 90 days of employment.Must have good record-keeping skills and be detail oriented.Good oral and written communication skills.Ability to drive Box Truck.Minimum 1 year of warehouse operations experience.Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License (a must) and reliable transportation to and from work.Class A or B CDL license (preferred)Qualifications:High Scholl Diploma or equivalent (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experiencePhysical Demands :The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
