Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Virginia physical therapy license required prior to the start of assignment. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required or may be required by the clinic. Outpatient physical therapy experience. Client prefers candidates with prior outpatient caseload management. Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and documenting in compliance with clinic, state, and payer requirements. Proven ability to provide discipline-specific delegation and direction for therapy services and to design functional treatment programs focused on return to community activities. Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling, materials handling, infection control, and fall prevention procedures. Ability to participate in student supervision and precepting as assigned is preferred. Maintain professional licensure and meet state‑mandated continuing education requirements. Adherence to professional codes of conduct is required. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient clinic. Duration: 13 Week assignment. Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule. Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other clinic locations as needed. Location Highlights Burke, VA offers convenient access to regional attractions and outdoor activities.
