Housing Specialist - Sanford, NC

Position Summary Perform general clerical work and assigned duties pertaining to the Agency’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) leasing and occupancy policies and procedures. Perform recertification, tenant portability/transfer briefings and activities, and maintain tenant files for portability caseload. Ensure the Agency receives at least a satisfactory rating concerning HUD agency scoring systems such as Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) and other future HUD-required evaluation systems. The duties listed below illustrate the various types of work that may be performed.
