Requisition No: 874431 Agency: State Courts System Position # 011780 Title: Court Program Specialist II – Family Court Division Location: St. Lucie County Courthouse, Fort Pierce, FL (travels within circuit) Salary: $48,040.08 annually Employment Type: Full-Time; Benefits Package; Retirement Effective Date: Immediate General Description The essential function of the position is to assist judges with the timely disposition of cases through case management, case monitoring, and program implementation. Responsibilities Assist judges in timely case disposition Review filings and prepare cases for court hearings Brief judges and attend hearings or other trial court proceedings as needed Maintain record/filing systems and schedule hearings Perform related clerical support functions Collect and report case/program data and maintain databases as needed Work under general supervision of the Director of Case Management and develop work methods and sequences Provide case management assistance in family cases and cross‑train in civil case management when coverage is needed Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or a closely related field. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year‑for‑year basis. Experience: Three years of professional, administrative, analytical related work experience. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school may substitute for two years of the recommended experience. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience level on a year‑for‑year basis. Valid Florida State Driver’s License required.
