General Manager - Residential HVAC and Home ServicesLead a Growing, Award-Winning HVC Company Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation | Phoenix, AZ Ideal Air condition and Insulation is an established, locally owned residential HVAC and home performance company serving homeowners throughout the Phoenix metro area. We're now looking for a General Manager who can help us continue growing while maintaining the culture and quality that set us apart.For nearly two decades, we have built our reputation on exceptional craftsmanship, honest services, strong customer relations, and taking care of our employees. We are locally owned- not private equity - and are looking for an experienced General Manager to help lead our next phase of growth. Position Overview: Will oversee the company's day-to-day operations, including the sales, service, installation, and administrative departments. Working directly with ownership, this individual will be responsible for developing leaders, improving operational performance, strengthening accountability, and driving profitable growth while maintaining the exceptional customer experience and quality standards that have made us successful. Pay: $105,000 - $130,000 per year, Salary + performance bonus based on company gross profit Work Schedule: Monday through Friday Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance 401(K) with Company Match Paid Time Off 7 Paid Holidays Company Unform iPhone and iPadWhat You Will Be Doing: Day-to-day operations of the business, profitability and accountability Supervisory responsibilities, such as hiring, terminations and mentoring Hold department manager accountable and KPI's Customer ServiceOversee negotiation of pricing with vendors and suppliers Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing employees Review profit and loss and make strategic decisionsWork directly with ownership team on long-term strategic planningLead weekly management meetingsWork with management team to improve overall internal efficiencies of company including process, procedures and policies Ensure Service Titan is being utilized accurately and consistently across all departments Help evaluate and implement additional home-service trades or business lines Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement What We Are Looking For: 5 + years of senior management experience leading a residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or similar home services company Proven experience managing multiple departments Proficiency in Microsoft office - Word, Excel, Google WorkspaceStrong understanding of financial statements, budgets, gross margins, labor efficiency and operational KPI's Ability to coach managers - not just employeesExperience growing revenue, while improving profitability Experience in adding a new trade - a major plusAdvanced customer service experience Advanced communication skillsOrganized with excellent follow up skills Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency A proactive leader who challenges the status quo and consistently looks for ways to improve business. What Success Looks Like: Department managers understand their goals and are consistently held accountable Sales, service, installation, and office operations work together effectively Revenue and profitability grow without sacrificing workmanship or customers satisfaction Operational problems are identified and resolved before they become larger issues Employees receive clear expectations, coaching, and support Processes are documented, flowed, and continuously improved Ownership is able to focus more heavily on long-term strategies rather than daily operations issues
