Job Description Job Description Top Job Located in Los Angeles, CA Salary: $80 - 90K, DOE Senior Bookkeeper $80 - 90K, DOE Monday Friday / 7:00am-4:30pm A high-end home furnishings company in East LA is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to support its accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role focuses on journal entries, high-volume invoice processing, and ensuring consistency across financial data. The ideal candidate brings strong bookkeeping experience, advanced Excel skills, and a high level of accuracy and organization. Senior Bookkeeper Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile accounts Process and track a high volume of invoices (approximately 3,000 per month) Ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounts payable and receivable Maintain and organize financial data and documentation Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records Senior Bookkeeper Requirements: Previous experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or similar role required Strong knowledge of journal entries and general bookkeeping practices Experience handling high-volume invoicing Advanced Excel skills required, including VLookups and pivot tables Experience using tools such as Copilot Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Experience with A/P and A/R bank reconciliations Experience using AI tools such as Copilot and Claude Recent experience using Quick Books Online Benefits of Working with Express: Weekly pay and immediate benefits!
