Title Clerk

The Title Specialist will be responsible for the daily processing of vehicle titles, maintaining filing documentation, and updating customers on file status while adhering to state and local title processing regulations and Copart policies. Responsibilities Process vehicle titles in accordance with state guidelines. Identify and analyze vehicle title and ownership documents within company guidelines. Research missing or incorrect title paperwork and determine the proper resolution in a timely manner. Communicate with customers via email or verbally to handle title issues daily. Maintain title bin filing as necessary. Build relationships and develop a professional rapport with DMV and sellers. Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma. Two years of customer service experience. One year of vehicle title processing experience. Computer proficiency (MS Office Word/Suite) and basic 10‑key proficiency. Excellent customer service skills and attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet time‑sensitive deadlines. Ability to multi‑task and work independently with little supervision. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Numeric and alphabetic filing skills are mandatory. Must be able to view a computer screen for a significant portion of the work day. Must be able to work overtime schedule as needed.
