Job Description

This is an individual contributor position which works under regular supervision of the Event Manager, oversees the work of event laborers, and is responsible for coordinating the set-up

and take-down of various sized tents and other event rental equipment to customer specifications.

Warehouse Duties:

• Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure all items are placed/stored in their designated location.

• Assist with inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

• Load and unload tents and party rental equipment to and from trucks.

• Process returning equipment through necessary steps, including but not limited to: Inspection; repair; clean; tag; and storage.

• Operate forklift, stake driver, stake remover, and articulated loader

• Maintain equipment to ensure safety, long-term use, and high cosmetic appeal.

Job Site Duties:

• Oversee the work of more junior event laborers, including troubleshooting.

• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

• Participate in major event installations.

• Install and/or set up: Tents, staging, flooring, dance floors, lighting, heat, etc.

• Remove equipment upon event completion.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by setting up event equipment to meet customer specifications while being respectful of property and others.

• Report any issues immediately to the supervisor on duty.

General Duties

• Support Delivery Service Representatives and Crew Chiefs.

• Engage in safe practices at all times to minimize potential accidents and ensure the safety of Adams team members and clients.

• Exhibit Adams Rental’s values.

• Contribute to Adams’s success by making suggestions for improvements regarding processes and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to work overtime as required, including nights, weekends and holiday

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

• Reliable and dependable

• Demonstrate friendly and courteous customer service skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs repeatedly.

• Ability to make contributions as part of team and as an individual contributor

• Ability to work professionally with people from various backgrounds within and outside of the company.

• Must be willing to obtain New Jersey Driver’s license.

• Must be willing to drive box trucks of up to 26 feet.

Will work in Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, Burlington and Mercer Counties
