Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Temp-to-Hire

Job Overview Job is Temp-to-Hire. After a 3 month probationary period through the agency, employees’ quality of work, productivity, and attendance will be evaluated before an offer is made. Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities Repair equipment to specifications on work orders. Build or rebuild production equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance on boilers and compressors. Move machinery (rig and move) as requested. Comply with OSHA regulations. Comply with all environmental safety practices and regulations, including thorough knowledge of all Material Safety Data (MSD), oil and chemical labeling and storage requirements. Adhere to all AIC company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices. Adapt responsibilities and/or assignments to meet business needs without prior notice. AIC follows an At-Will Employment practice. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment. Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to verbally communicate effectively. Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to apply basic concepts of algebra, geometry and trigonometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to read, interpret and create blueprints. Ability to read and interpret router instructions and specifications. Properly use and operate tools and machining equipment. Security Requirements This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
