Information Technology Administrator

Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Operations Administrator is responsible for optimizing and coordinating IT operations within the organization. This role involves overseeing inventory control, problem-solving, quality control, and ensuring efficient communication both internally and externally. The IT Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining a seamless workflow within the IT department. General Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and enforce adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures within the IT department. Monitor, manage, and optimize IT inventory, including hardware, software, and related assets. Maintain accurate records and work to prevent overstock or shortages. Act as a point of contact for end-user support, ensuring devices are prepared and maintained. Support and collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth operations. Review work for quality and accuracy, ensuring that IT solutions and services meet the organization's standards. Support various hardware including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and network equipment. Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement. Familiarity with IT systems, tools, and industry best practices. Positive attitude and proactive work ethic Understanding of networking operating systems, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and remote communications Strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
