This position will consist of element transportation, event execution, in-office tasks, and other work.This Associate Manager role requires extensive travel to and from events in support of all areas of event execution including element transportation, set-up, event management, and break down. The candidate should be prepared for a minimum of 50-75% road travel during the first year, including weekends and some holidays.In the office, the position will be responsible for supporting event preparations, recapping, maintaining personal expenses, and any other account related tasks that may arise. This position will be utilized in supporting additional key accounts as needed, as well as actively engaging in various company initiatives.The Associate Manager is responsible for working effectively with both client and internal account teams to support event programs that achieve client results against established strategic & creative objectives, timelines and financial goals. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in experiential marketing production and execution, be self-motivated, thrive under pressure, work well in a fast-paced competitive industry, and have a passion for event production, execution and logistics.Support all aspects of event activationResponsible for maintaining and submitting timely expense reportsTravel as needed, ensuring availability for all required event datesUnderstand event budgets ensuring that financial goals are always metCollaborate with the Account Manager to support the activation plan, budgeting, event execution, recapping, and reconciliationTake ownership of event and transportation elementsCollaborate with vendors to ensure quality and workability and that the various projects meet the core objectives of the programWork closely with staffing agencies to support the hiring, training and managing the event staff needs for the programsManage the warehousing PO system and understand/execute the shipping processDocument and learn all aspects of the account elements to assist in creating manuals and/or physical trainingCollaborate with peers in the department to foster innovationYou Have These :1+ year experience in experiential marketing and/or event production, or equivalent experienceBachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experienceCDL not required but a plusPays close attention to detailDemonstrates knowledge and desire to learn event productionExcellent customer focus, interpersonal and written communication skillsAbility to handle numerous account tasks simultaneously with excellent organizational skills, while self-managing priorities and commitmentsAbility to pro-actively anticipate obstacles and create solutionsMust possess a strong work ethic, can-do attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentAbility to perform occasional on-site physical tasks, including lifting or moving equipment/materials, extended periods standing or walking, and use of basic production tools as neededWilling and able to work nonstandard work hours and weekends as required (this is not a 9 to 5 job) and possess a good sense of humor!Willing to travel at minimum 50 – 75% of the calendar yearPassion for new technology, sports and entertainment and live eventsHow we work:WME Group is at the center of sports, media, entertainment, and fashion and is a largely relationship-based business.
