Duration: Perm Full-Time

Shift: Day shift / 40 hours per week (schedule may vary based on unit needs)

License/Certs: State Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

Experience: Completion of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship, prior NICU experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 16-bed Level III NICU
• Manage an average daily census of 7-8 NICU patients
• Deliver advanced care for critically ill and premature newborns
• Attend high-risk deliveries and manage perinatal stabilization
• Provide care for healthy newborns in the nursery
• Collaborate with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Support and contribute to achieving excellent neonatal outcomes
• Potentially assume leadership roles for qualified candidates

What You Need

Required:

• Medical license in Georgia or eligible for licensure
• Board certification or eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Residency within the immediate local area (relocation may be required)

Preferred:

• Previous NICU experience
• Leadership skills and a collaborative approach
