Regional Manager – Multifamily Property Management

Location: Lewisville, TX

We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager – Multifamily Property Management to oversee a portfolio of apartment communities in the Lewisville / Dallas-Fort Worth market.

This opportunity is ideal for an accomplished Regional Property Manager, Regional Manager, Regional Supervisor, Area Manager, or multi-site property management leader with a proven track record overseeing large multifamily portfolios.

The Regional Manager will have direct responsibility for portfolio operations, financial performance, team development, property standards, compliance, and operational strategy across multiple apartment communities totaling 1,000+ units .

Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Operations

• Oversee the operational performance of multiple multifamily apartment communities
• Maintain high standards for property appearance, curb appeal, physical condition, resident experience, and overall operations
• Conduct regular property visits and inspections throughout the assigned portfolio
• Identify operational challenges and implement strategies to improve property performance
• Monitor leasing, occupancy, maintenance, and overall community performance

Financial Management

• Prepare, manage, and monitor annual operating and capital budgets
• Review monthly financial statements, operating expenses, revenue, and budget variances
• Develop strategies to maximize property profitability and portfolio performance
• Monitor capital expenditures and recommend improvements based on property needs
• Partner with onsite leadership to achieve established financial objectives

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Community Managers and onsite property management teams
• Establish clear expectations, performance standards, and accountability
• Recruit and support the development of high-performing property management professionals
• Identify opportunities for leadership development and succession
• Build consistency and strong communication across the portfolio

Operational Strategy

• Implement and maintain standardized operating procedures across the portfolio
• Drive consistency in leasing, maintenance, customer service, vendor management, and property operations
• Evaluate current processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
• Partner with onsite teams to ensure operational standards are consistently executed

Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain strong knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and property management compliance standards
• Support workplace safety and OSHA compliance
• Identify and mitigate operational and property-level risk

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of multi-site or regional multifamily property management experience
• Proven experience overseeing a portfolio of 1,000+ apartment units
• Previous experience as a Regional Manager, Regional Property Manager, Regional Supervisor, Area Manager, Area Property Manager, Portfolio Manager, or comparable multi-site leader
• Strong knowledge of multifamily operations, leasing, maintenance, and property performance
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing Community Managers and onsite teams
• Strong financial acumen with experience in operating budgets, capital budgets, financial statements, forecasting, expense management, and variance analysis
• Experience developing or implementing operational policies and procedures
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing and multifamily compliance requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and crisis-management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, or comparable property management systems
• Ability to travel between properties throughout the assigned portfolio
