This community mental health center delivers outpatient psychiatric services to an adult population within a structured clinical environment. The facility provides telehealth-based care, supporting continuity of service for patients requiring general adult mental health treatment. Locum tenens coverage is sought beginning October 2026 on an ongoing basis.

The area along the Rio Grande offers a range of cultural, recreational, and entertainment attractions suited to varied interests. Points of interest include the Imaginarium of South Texas, Lake Casa Blanca International State Park, and the Republic of the Rio Grande Museum. Shopping destinations such as Mall Del Norte and The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo, as well as entertainment venues including Sames Auto Arena and Uni-Trade Stadium, complement a historic downtown characterized by Spanish colonial architecture, public golf courses, and outdoor recreation opportunities.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services via telehealth for an adult population, working day shifts totaling 40 hours per week. Clinical responsibilities include conducting initial psychiatric evaluations (60 minutes per evaluation) and providing medication management follow-up appointments (20 minutes per visit) for adults presenting with general outpatient mental health conditions. A caseload of 10-16 patients per day is scheduled, depending on the number of new evaluations and follow-up appointments. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required, and enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
