The Role

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab findings
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to craft and implement individualized surgical treatment protocols
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, wound management, discharge planning, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practice are highly valued

Certifications Needed

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
