Job Description Mount Sinai South Nassau is currently seeking Inpatient Psychiatrists to join our facility! Mount Sinai South Nassau (MSSN) is seeking Inpatient Psychiatrists to be based in Oceanside, New York. MSSN’s Department of Psychiatry is a vibrant community of dedicated and collaborative professionals committed to discovering the causes of, and better treatments for, mental illness and substance use disorders. For over 30 years, our team of behavioral health experts has offered care for people with a sudden, short-term crisis as well as ongoing mental health conditions. We aim to help people manage personal tragedy, job and family situations, medical illness, and difficult diagnosis, as well as a wide range of mental health and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment in an inpatient unit for adult patients ensuring appropriate medication management and longitudinal care. Qualifications MD or D.O. from an accredited School of Medicine License to practice medicine in the State of New York Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry Additional Information: Opportunities for formal teaching and clinical research at the Icahn School of Medicine Includes an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at a rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation ranges from 255K to 290K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits) Salary Disclosure Information: Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
