Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and manage electrical commercial construction and engineering projects from initial planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, contractors, vendors, and field execution while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable electrical codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from concept/design through installation, commissioning, and closeout .
• Develop project scope, budgets, schedules, manpower requirements, and execution plans.
• Coordinate electrical engineering, design, procurement, construction, and installation activities.
• Manage subcontractors, electrical contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, material submittals, and project documentation.
• Coordinate field activities and monitor project progress against established schedules.
• Track project costs, purchase orders, change orders, invoices, and overall budget performance.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct project meetings and communicate status, issues, schedules, and deliverables to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience managing electrical projects, electrical construction, industrial projects, or facility projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, controls, power distribution, and electrical construction practices.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and vendors .
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA , and applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, schematics, and construction documents .
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and scheduling.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar project/design software is preferred.
