Work Environment

Situated in a modern rehabilitation facility, our onsite work environment fosters collaboration among physical therapists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals. With a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, our team works cohesively to create a positive atmosphere conducive to both therapy and education. You'll utilize cutting-edge equipment and technology to assess and treat a variety of orthopedic concerns, ensuring you have the resources needed to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with various orthopedic diagnoses, developing tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including objective measurements, revised goals, treatment plans, and discharge recommendations, ensuring a comprehensive record of patient care.
• Recommend appropriate medical equipment and assistive devices to facilitate recovery and improve patients' quality of life.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings, empowering patients with knowledge about their conditions and methods to enhance recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care, sharing insights and strategies to contribute to a unified treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, particularly those recovering from surgical interventions. You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals with musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative recovery cases, and chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these patients regain full mobility and functionality, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active physical therapy license in the state of Florida is necessary to practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic setting, focusing on treating musculoskeletal conditions and postoperative recovery.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, their families, and the broader healthcare team.
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' evaluations and unique circumstances.
• Extensive knowledge in assessing, diagnosing, and treating orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
