Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Tallahassee. Our clinic features advanced rehabilitation technology and equipment that allows for effective treatment and recovery. You will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, creating an energizing work atmosphere focused on improving patient outcomes. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing stability and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical assessments.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques to improve patients' strength, mobility, and overall functional ability.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions while managing a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring timely and effective treatments.
• Educate patients on exercises and lifestyles that promote health, continuously motivating them to engage actively in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Document all patient care services accurately and maintain up-to-date records using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluating treatment effectiveness and making necessary adjustments to care plans.

At Horizon Flex Therapy, you will primarily serve orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. We focus on enhancing our clients' mobility and functional independence, helping them return to their daily activities and enjoy a better quality of life. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that all aspects of patient care are considered, providing holistic support during rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist License, with no board actions or disciplinary actions on record.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one before commencing employment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription for patient healing.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy is highly desirable.
• Prior experience managing a patient caseload and developing treatment plans tailored to specific patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with a strong preference for candidates experienced with WebPT.
• A proven track record of collaborating within a healthcare team to improve patient care and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
