Work Environment

As an onsite practice located in Tallahassee, our office is designed with patient comfort and staff collaboration in mind. Our modern facility is equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation technology, promoting a professional and conducive environment for delivering high-quality care. You will be working a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while engaging directly with patients seeking recovery from musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and specific needs to create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility and function, ultimately helping patients reduce dependency on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical procedures.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based practices to devise and execute individualized care plans, employing various treatment techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Develop holistic fitness and wellness programs that address the unique physical requirements of each patient, promoting overall health and fitness.
• Foster a healing relationship by providing high-quality, personalized care and encouraging patients to adopt healthy lifestyle habits that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal issues. Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and goals. A deep appreciation for varied patient experiences and backgrounds will help you adapt your approach and strategies effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with patients and colleagues alike.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary treatment practices and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced education such as a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience with specialized orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems and patient management software.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
