Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest technology for sports medicine and rehabilitation services. We pride ourselves on being a patient-focused facility that predominantly serves individuals with private medical insurance. Our team consists of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, all committed to delivering exceptional care tailored to the unique needs of our patients.

Work Environment

As an onsite position, you will work within a supportive and collaborative environment that promotes professional development and teamwork. Our regular work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. You will perform clinical assessments, deliver personalized treatment plans, and engage patients in various therapeutic exercises, ensuring they receive the optimal support for their recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their specific goals and treatment needs.
• Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring individualized attention and care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that utilize evidence-based practices to improve mobility and function.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and functional exercises to increase patient strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment, fostering a positive environment that emphasizes their progress and recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services accurately to maintain high-quality records.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify plans as necessary to enhance patient results.
• Encourage lifestyle changes that promote health and well-being, reducing the reliance on medication and surgical interventions.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development to stay current with advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, experiencing chronic pain, or seeking rehabilitation from sports injuries. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations and age groups, tailoring your treatment approach to fit their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Maintained a clean professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Experience with EMR Software, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a strong understanding of patient-centered care.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and skill level.
