Work Environment

This full-time role provides an engaging work setting at our onsite Rehabilitation Center, where team collaboration thrives in a supportive atmosphere. You will be working closely with a small team of two other physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), allowing for a collaborative approach to patient care. Our work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a healthy work-life balance for our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to accurately identify patients' goals and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, personalized care throughout the treatment process.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that enhance patients' range of motion, functional mobility, and overall quality of life.
• Create and administer cost-effective treatments while evaluating outcomes to maximize therapeutic benefits and minimize reliance on medication.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to optimize patient recovery.
• Design specialized fitness and wellness programs in partnership with patients, focusing on their unique health objectives.
• Motivate and support patients during their rehabilitation journey, encouraging lifestyle adjustments that promote physical health.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly and maintain clear communication with patients and healthcare colleagues about progress and care strategies.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery that addresses all dimensions of patient health.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of applied therapies, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in response to patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on individuals with orthopedic conditions requiring outpatient therapy. Many of our patients are recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our goal is to restore their functional abilities while promoting long-term wellness and injury prevention. As a therapist, you will work closely with each patient, building strong therapeutic relationships that lead to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• No history of disciplinary action from licensing boards or regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Ability to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR), with experience in WebPT considered an asset.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to ongoing learning, and a passion for patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
